Felt Button Card–World Cardmaking Day 2012
Happy World Cardmaking Day! I’m sharing a felt button card I originally posted on the Buttons Galore & More blog. It features a streamlined grid arrangement that is quick to put together.
I combined the felt button grid with a neutral kraft cardstock that pops the texture and color of the felt buttons. Tie embroidery thread or bakers twine through button holes, or leave them open as I did to make the card even more quickly.
Instructions:
- Cut and fold kraft cardstock to create 6×6 top-fold card. Ink edges of card front using Dark Brown ink.
- Arrange felt buttons to create desired color and shape grid arrangement. Glue buttons in place using fabric adhesive.
- Stamp sentiment onto bracket shape using light blue ink. Cut out bracket shape from premade tag and attach safety pin.
- Attach tag to card using dimensional adhesive.
For a complete list of the materials used to make this card, check out the original post here.
