Everyone will love playing this Easter bingo game together.

I love playing games on holidays. They’re so much fun to play and a great way to spend some quality time together with family and friends. Printable Easter bingo is no exception, it’s one of my favorite Easter activities, since everyone can play together.

Plus, Easter is one of those holidays where it’s easy to get overwhelmed planning dinner and filling Easter baskets. Printable bingo takes minimal time and effort to prep, so it’s one of those “easy to check off” items on my to-do list. I can even do it in my pj’s!

Free Printable Easter Bingo Cards

There are 6 unique cards in the free download, egg-cellent for family Easter celebrations or small groups needing a fun Easter activity. It’s a perfect game for scout troops, youth groups, and senior centers.

You could even print and put together a set as a non-candy Easter basket filler, then the whole family can play together later.

Larger sets of up to 50 different cards are available in my online store for classroom parties and other bigger groups.

Setting Up the Printable Easter Bingo Game

Before the big day, you’ll need to prepare your free Easter Bingo Game. It won’t take long, but it’s easier to just take out the game when you’re ready to play.

3 Easter bingo cards and one page of calling cards, each with cute spring images. The bingo cards have purple boarders. All are lying on a blue background with felt butterflies and bunnies.

Download and print the free Easter bingo game cards and calling card sheet. The sheets are designed 2 per US letter size page to save paper and printing costs.

Mid-weight white card stock gives the best results for printing bingo games, plus it’s more durable than standard printer paper. Printer paper will also work, but expect them to last only one day of use.

You can download the free printable file near the bottom of this post.

Cut apart the bingo game boards and calling cards. I use a paper cutter for straight edges and speed, but scissors will work too.

You’ll need something to use as bingo markers. Small candies like jelly beans or Hershey’s Kisses are a readily available option. If you’d prefer a non-candy option these are adorable! Punched card stock circles make inexpensive bingo chips too.

*tip: laminating the bingo sheets using either a laminating machine or self-laminating envelopes will allow reusing the cards all through spring, even year after year.

You can use dry erase markers on laminated bingo sheets, though I still find the bingo cards don’t last as nicely with all the erasing.

How to Play Easter Bingo

Most people have played a traditional bingo game before. Themed bingo is similar, matching pictures instead of a letter/number combo. Reviewing the rules is always a good idea, to avoid confusion and squabbling.

To play Bingo:

  1. Pass out bingo boards to each player or team. Place the calling cards in a bowl and mix them well.
  2. Give each player at least 25 bingo markers (more if using candy, since some will “mysteriously vanish” during the game.)
  3. Make sure each player places a marker on the center free space.
  4. As the bingo caller pulls a calling card from the bowl, players add a marker to the matching picture space.
  5. The first person to match 5 in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) shouts “BINGO!” and wins the game

All players then clear the game pieces from their boards to play again.

Alternative Bingo Winning Plays

Changing up the winning move from a single straight line is a great way to make this fun Easter game shorter or longer. Try these options:

  • Four Corners– cover all 4 of the board corners
  • X-OUT – match both diagonals through the center square
  • Cris-Cross – match vertical and horizontal through the center square
  • Make a Letter – try marking a T, L, O, or I to win

A note on blackout bingo: Since there are 30 images and 25 bingo grid spaces, multiple people may call bingo at the same time if you’re playing to fill the whole card.

Bingo Prize Ideas

Prizes make Easter bingo egg-stra fun! If you’re hosting a community event or adult party, you might want some larger prizes. For home or classroom, choose smaller prizes. You can hand out a specific prize or let your winner choose.

Ideas for larger, mixed-age groups:

For classrooms or other groups of kids, anything that would work in a regular prize box will work for a game of Easter or Spring bingo. Try:
